Home
| Many elderly and disabled persons struggle with their limited income and their isolation from society. The ones among them who own their homes often see their house fall in severe disrepair making it difficult to live there. The situation is compounded because often broken systems increase utility usage and make it even more difficult to keep up with the bills. It is not uncommon that these people live in dangerous or life threatening situations such as broken toilets, cracked floors, broken windows etc. These circumstances lead more often than not to less visitors and isolation. | | It is the goal of Neighborlove to break through the walls of isolation and improve the basic condition of the house. Mission Work Teams(clickable link to page) coming from many states different states are invited to spent a week working in the homes. Smaller projects are performed by other volunteers | | Repairing the home and the simultaneous contact with volunteers often restores the hope of the homeowners and offers possibilities for ongoing contact. | | "Click here to get more information via our Brochure" | |
